Reflection about the book

                This project helps me appreciate the novel I chose more than before. Before, I don’t really like to read books. I thought that they were boring and there is so much hard vocabulary that I don’t understand. But then this project, it forces me to read. At first, I don’t really like it. But then, as I read more and more, I can’t stop and I can’t put the book down.  In my head, book doesn't really feel that bad.

                This story is fun. It’s like adventure and I’m sure that kids who don’t like reading books come to read this novel, they will love it. I saw this book many times at the book store. I never buy it. But then in school, I saw the same book so I try to get it and use it for my project. When I read more and more, I love it and I manage to finish the book.

                I feel really lucky that I chose this book to read. The way the author describes, I can just feel it. I feel like I’m in the situation that the main characters are in. It’s so excited the way the author describe. It just makes you can’t put the book down. I really recommend this book to everyone. No matter how old you are, if u read it, you won’t regret. 

Main Character's goals and dreams

            In this novel, there are four main characters. Each character has their own dreams, goals and motives. The main characters are Reynard Muldoon (Reynie), George Washington (Sticky), Kate Wetherall, Constance Contraire. First is Reynie. His dream is to somehow know about his family. He was left in the orphanage but then Ms. Perumal was so kind to him and wanted to adopt him as her child. Reynie also love Ms. Permural like a real mother. They love each other so much and make a happy family. For this story, his goal was to safe Mr. Benedict and Number Two and being them back safely.  He also has a motive that he wants his friends to be safe and doesn't make Ms. Perumal worried that much and disappointed.

            Second is Kate. She has a dream to find her father. Her father is lost long time ago and she wants to find him back. But then, the difference about Kate is that she accomplishes it. She found her father and stayed with him. But the goal that she had in mind is also the same with Reynie which is safe Mr. Benedict and Number Two back safely. They don’t want to lose more people in their lives anymore.

            The third one is Sticky. His dream is that he wishes that his parents would care for him more and see him as their son not as their benefit to find money. He wants to feel important in his family and feel the love. After all of this happen, his parents now understand him and feel guilty in themselves and saying sorry to Sticky. Sticky’s goal too is to save Mr. Benedict and Number Two.

            The last one is Constance. Her dream was to be Mr. Benedict’s official daughter. She lost her parents when she was a very little child and lived in the library. Mr. Benedict can’t do that yet because he needs to make a document which will prove that Constance existed. Constance is like everyone else too. Her goal also wants save Mr. Benedict and Number Two.
